What can machine vision inspect on my production line? +

Machine vision inspects almost anything a camera can see: surface defects, missing or misplaced components, dimensions and measurements, fill levels, labels, and print quality. It reads barcodes and 2D codes for traceability and confirms assembly steps ran correctly — all in-line, at production speed, without a human checking every part.

How does vision-guided robotics work? +

A camera locates a part and sends its position and orientation to the robot, so the robot can pick, place, or weld it accurately even when parts arrive unfixtured or vary in position. Mikewill integrates Keyence vision with ABB and FANUC robots so guidance and motion work as one coordinated system.

Do you use Keyence for machine vision? +

Yes. Keyence is a primary platform for our vision and code-reading work, and we've deployed it for quality verification — including on Delta Steel & Tube's robotic weld cells. We select the right camera, lens, and lighting for your parts and tie the results into your PLC, robots, and HMI.

Will a vision system slow down my line? +

No. Industrial vision is built to inspect at production speed, capturing and judging parts in milliseconds. The bigger risk is false rejects from poor lighting or loose tolerances, which is why we prove the image on your real parts and tune the system with production samples before go-live.

Can machine vision be added to equipment we already run? +

Usually, yes. Vision cameras and sensors can be retrofitted onto existing lines, cells, and machines, then wired into your current PLC and HMI. Because Mikewill handles the electrical and controls in-house, we can add inspection or code reading to running equipment with minimal disruption.
